Everytime this happens atleast we can have a big accident in a quarter which makes india in a leading position in terms of train accidents. so what if Russia has larger train network than us we have to be first in some place... We have more than 1 billion people so i believe we dnt care if few hundred dies in accidents. and think of it why again sabarmati express? Was godhra not enough or wht??
Now get this: Lalu prasad yadav arrives in morning after 7 hours of accident when most of the rescue work is done. Rathwa who is state minister for railways from congress and in whose area this accident happened has not arrived for quite long time! this shows his performance. why shouldnt we demand his resignation and above all instead of focusing on this issue Mr. Yadav is focusing on the misbehaviour of mob which he claims was done by narendra modi! and VHP and Bajarang Dal activists. Now i know personally from the experience of earthquake in gujarat that these activists from RSS and VHP were the first one who helped all victims very well and every one knows that fact. Here in this case also they were the first with local villagers of Samalaya to help the people on the accident site at 4 in night when there was no light and Mr. Lalu Yadav was sleeping in New delhi. But this is not the proper time for politics. and yadav's language was terrible. It was not proper for a Union minister of cabinet to speak like that. anyway focus on other thing in this politics now : BJP has sent a team to check the allegations reported by lalu were rit or wrong and its leader is Sushil Modi who is chief rival of lalu in Bihar BJP!! so BJP has also politasized this issue.
I was watching a program on Discovery which was about a train accident in Germany Deutche Bahn Railway. in that program one lady said that the compensation they get is very nominal compared to other countries in the world. In all other countries they have tough rules for rail accidents!! Now thats what a german lady is saying... She should visit India ... What do u say?
-Ravi Kamdar

<msn:type>blogentry</msn:type><live:type>blogentry</live:type><live:typelabel>Blog entry</live:typelabel>

<dcterms:modified>2005-04-22T18:30:23Z</dcterms:modified>
